Boyne Mountain Announces The Midwest's First Eight-Pack

This afternoon Boyne Mountain & Boyne Highlands release their vision for the resorts over the next nine years.

Several improvements are slated for the resorts in the near future, including RFID, a sky-bridge, and the Midwest's first eight pack.

The high-speed eight pack is slated to be installed in late spring/summer of 2022 and will replace the Disciples Ridge and Disciples II lift. The lift's name will be Disciples 8 or D8 for short. D8 will roughly run between where those two lifts are currently located. This addition will be fitting for the resort as they have a long history of installing record-breaking lifts. Boyne Mountain still has the world's first chairlift (Hemlock) & they also had the world's first quad and the first six-pack in the United States.

Other mid and long-term improvements include upgrades to snowmaking and other lift enhancements as well.
