Midwest Monday - Hyland Hills - E7

Updated: Feb 8, 2022

Welcome to Midwest Monday, a 100% pure skiing/riding edit featuring ski areas and riders from around the Midwest. New episodes are uploaded every Monday during the season, so check in every week so you don't miss an upload.

Nothing screams Midwest freestyle skiing more than a jump approximately a third in length as the total vertical drop of the hill itself. We spent an entire Tuesday hanging out at Hyland Hills for this week's Midwest Monday. Hyland always offers those great vibes and comradery that can make an eight-hour day of lapping ropes fly by in a blink of an eye.

The day started with lapping with some of the Hyland locals, then wrapped up with Adam Peterson helping debut the 2022 - 52 foot Nybora jump. Shout out to the Nybora Freestyle team for allowing us to film during practice. Also, Special thanks to Adam for showing us the progression into a switch double cork 900 - although we are pretty positive, we will never use the information learned from that lesson.

If you want to learn more about the Nybora Freestyle Team be sure to check out their website at www.nybora.com

Special thanks to the skiers/riders in this weeks episode: Mason Ferrell, Michael McGuire, West Anderson, Owen Ready, Jefferey Brown, Jaxson Moon, and Adam Peterson
